We are all snuggled into bed in my Uncle Joel and Aunt Julie's basement. My aunt made grill cheese and some super yummy homemade tomato soup. My kids ran around like a bunch of wild monkeys as if all the energy stored up the last 5 days in the car needed to come out right when we walked in the door! My uncle and aunt were great and took it all in stride! We are excited to spend the next couple days here with them exploring their land and making friends with all their animals. Libby has gotten a head start and is already good buddies with a dog named Maddie and a cat named Tink. Tomorrow we will meet their horse, sheep, and the miniature ponies that live next door. My kiddos will be in heaven!
For now we are heading to bed and I need to try to sleep off the cold I feel coming on. Zycam will be my friend tonight along with my aunts choc mint and rose hip tea she made me dried from her garden. I could seriously get used to that!!! Good night!!!
