History Lesson

These girlies worked hard this morning to complete their Mount Rushmore National Memorial Junior Ranger booklets and earn their Jr. Ranger badges. Here they are sporting their new badges!
Here's a little of what they learned...
"They used dynamite to blast away the rock to make the faces.". - Libby
"They made 700 steps just so the workers could go to work every day." - Kady
"First they made a model. Then they changed it 9 times before they used it to make the monument." - Ally

  1. I can't wait to see your badges! I've never been to Mount Rushmore, you will have to teach me all about it!
