We are in the middle of moving so I am up to my earlobes in packing paper and rubbermaid bins (more on that coming soon). Last night, I was tired and overwhelmed. Now I'm not complaining about being tired. I take full responsibility for my current state of exhaustion. I spent the weekend at a homeschooling conference in Cincinnati with my sister-in-law who also happens to be one of my very best friends. It was awesome. We spent the weekend eating yummy food, sharing our hearts, meeting some incredible people, talking all things homeschooling, and sleeping very little! I'm paying for it now but it was SO worth it! Nevertheless, last night I was exhausted and my living room looked like this...
Then I went upstairs to find this. They had made a sign saying "We are Saving Money for Vytrak." And they had all dumped their piggy banks on Don's desk wanting to give it all to help people in Africa. Oh the joy of their hearts to give to the least of these...to impact lives for Jesus. This is what its all about... This momma needed that reminder tonight...
Seriously, when the kids came up stairs and started to count their money and ask if they could invest in Vytrak it was an amazing moment. So we better do well because that is now their college funds! :-)
