The Home of the Week...

So I decided that I need to start a weekly post.  I'm going to call it "The Home of the Week."  You see, when you are homeless like we are, you can have a cool weekly post like that complete with catchy title.  And everybody...including ourselves...gets to be surprised at where our family of 7 will find themselves each week.  It's already been fun!

This is where we stayed last week!  It's AMAZING...  It's at the Lake of the Ozarks... Some part of our family has been coming here almost annually (give or take a couple years) for the last 8 years.  The second condo from the right is owned by some dear friends parents.  We've been meeting the same group of friends that Don has mostly known since high school here for an annual reunion of sorts.  Over the years, spouses and 16 children (2 currently in utero!) have been added to the families.  We LOVE these people.

This year our friends parents were very gracious to allow our family to arrive 4 days before the group.  We had a fabulous little vacation swimming (a ton!), riding the jet ski and paddle board, staying up late watching Olympics, lazy mornings, yummy vacation food...it was AWESOME!

We pretty much lived here for 4 days!  The water was perfect and there were lots of fun water toys.

The girls and Daddy got their exercise one day swimming across to the other side.

This lil dude is cautious but even he got pretty comfortable in the water by the end of the week.
