The Dynamic Squad!!!

We spent the evening of Oct 30th in Pella, our old stomping grounds.  It was so fun sharing this event with great friends who we had shared every Halloween with until our move to Michigan.  It was like deja vu seeing our kids all together again dressed up going house to house just like old times...only this time the kids were old enough to run to the doors all by themselves!  Don did  his annual face painting masterpieces and we had most of our new Vytrak team with us as well which was awesome!  (missed you R&J!)

Here's Miss Libby as Princess Leia!  (As if I had to tell you...the hair's a dead giveaway!)

Love this pose!  (This one's for you Miss Michelle VZ!!!)

Ally diverted from her favorite Dorothy costume this year (breaking a 3 year streak!) to join Kady as the dynamic duo out to fight crime!  She has wanted a batgirl costume to play super heroines with Kady so she was thrilled when we scored this one used at a consignment store a couple weeks ago.

 The Dynamic Duo!!!

Unlike Ally, Kady did not break her favorite streak!  For the last 3 years, I have asked her what she wanted to dress up as.  She looked at me kind of confused, "Uh...Supergirl!  (obviously)"  So Supergirl joined us once again.  Love that girl!!! (yes, we had to upsize her costume for her birthday as her other one was way too small and pretty tattered.  she LOVES her some Supergirl...)

Miss Chloe wanted to be a fairy princess.  With 3 older sisters, that was not hard to pull off!  She was so cute this year running up to the houses.  This was the first year she didn't shyly wait for Mommy but tackled trick-or-treating with a gusto!

This lil guy looked studly in his G.I. Joe costume.  He was buddies with Kelby that night who has 3 sisters himself.  It was fun watching Tobin do some boy bonding.  Those boys have to stick together!!!

 OUR CREW!

Here's the group heading out minus Miss Jordyn (who was an adorable giraffe and too shy for pics) and Baby Whitley who was bundled up in her stroller!

Until next year...
