...again!!! So we left LA yesterday and we were supposed to drive to the Grand Canyon. But we drove to Phoenix instead. Don had an unexpected business meeting come up and his boss lives in Phoenix! It was actually quite convenient to head a couple hours south last night so he could be here today. We didn't get to our hotel until 1 am last night so it was a long day but the kids slept in the car and made a smooth transition to their beds last night. We let everyone sleep in and the kids and I have spent the morning at the pool (I'm blogging from a lawn chair in the sun!) while Don is at his meeting. The kids are having a blast! We'll check out at 1:30 and drive the 4 hours to the Grand Canyon so we can see that tomorrow.
