It was Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Days in Colorado Springs a couple weeks ago. We have one little girls who LOVES horses. Before the rodeo started, there was a rodeo parade through downtown Colorado Springs. Ally was in heaven. At one point, I told her that the entire parade was horses and I simply couldn't take her picture in front of EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
We discovered the secret to "doing the rodeo" with young children...don't pay the money for rodeo tickets but go early for all the free fun pre-rodeo activities! There was petting turtles, lasso practice, a pig show, panning for gold...and all kinds of fun!
