What's THAT thing driving around Pella?!?

It's DRIVING!!!  The team spent this past week driving, testing, loading, pushing, tweaking, fixing, testing, and driving (again!) the ITV.  The week started out rough but ended with some encouraging high notes!  They ran into some pretty major hurdles early in the week but they pushed through and wound up coming up with some exciting solutions that not only fixed the issues they were experiencing but some other issues as well AND added some functionality they had hoped to add in the future.  There is still a lot of work to do but we feel really good about how this baby performed by the end of the week!

Here it is pictured without the bed yet.

I wonder what the neighbors thought when they looked out their windows this morning?!?

The kids got to go out and watch testing for awhile.

Just picture this...with an African driver...remove the helmet...with African countryside in the background!  Awesome!

We are so excited to see this vehicle built and will be shipping it over to join us on the ground in Ghana, West Africa as soon as it is done.  It will probably take 3-5 weeks to get there so we will beat it there by a couple weeks and be able to personally greet it on the other side of the ocean.  Our new target departure is SOON...like in the next couple weeks.  My next post should say "WE BOUGHT TICKETS!"  Stay tuned!
